We sent a group of 30 persons to RI Conference Bangkok this year.
We are interested in sending 20 persons from Perth Australia to Lisbon to attend RI Conference June 2013.
Can you please advise how we go about securing 10 rooms at a 4 star Hotel in Lisbon to promote the event. Regards Rotarian George Booth
Hello George. We have not decided which hotel to stay in yet – will probably do so at this week’s meeting. But George, please think about extending your stay and visiting our beautiful part of Portugal – the Algarve. We are planning to put together some activities for Rotarians wishing to visit the south. Keep in touch and email me if I can be of further help (sheena@algarveresident.com).
As chairman of On-To-Convention for RI Distt. 3131, I am handicapped by lack of relevant material to make a PP presentation for speaking to 91 clubs of our District.
To entice and inspire our rotarians to register early and make necessary arrangements, we need a module, preferably as a CD that can be downloaded for suitably modify as the district’s efforts to advertise this more than once among these clubs singly or collectively before Sep 12 atleast twice before we start making concrete proposals to them.
Can you help me beyond just downloading material from this site and condensing whatever is available herein.

Two members of our club (Lakeway Rotary Club, #5870, Lakeway Texas ) plan to attend the event in Portugal and want to arrange for a booth to showcase our international project in Tanzania, East Africa. Please advise us regarding the procedures for registering to display a project and encourage participation with other clubs. Thank you.

The Convention will be held at Parque das Nações | Lisbon.
The venues will be Feira Internacional de Negócios and Pavilhão Atlântico both in Parque das Nações.
