This blog was born in an effort to grasp what makes people behave the way they do. My name is Cornelia and currently, I’m earning a degree in psychology at the University of Washington. I strongly believe that only through getting to understand other people you gain a chance to understand yourself. And while this work proves to be challenging at times, it is also the most rewarding. How many professions can really make a difference in someone’s life?

I strongly believe the key to happiness lies in the harmony with one’s self. A person, who is in accord with their own self, has no problem with behaving naturally in a new situation. They are not afraid to present their thoughts and allow themselves to make mistakes or know not something. Most people tend to face troubles when concentrating on acting out roles, invest too much energy on building up an image, instead of investing into solving of real problems.
Here I post informational articles, share my insights into psychology and comment on popular issues. Lately, I also became interested in the intersection of psychology and the internet.

Please note, everything you read in this blog represents my own point, derived from my own experience. You may or may not agree with it and that’s fine. You can also contact me and share your opinion so we can indulge in a conversation. Remember, making contact is the first step to understanding. Let’s help each other to be able to help ourselves!
